This is the 13th annual AICP Show, an event of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers that celebrates the craft of commercial film production and the professionals whose visions shape the industry. Established in 1992, in cooperation with The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the AICP Show recognizes excellence in commercial filmmaking, focusing on technical expertise and the artistic application of that expertise. The honored commercials are made part of the permanent archives of the museum's Department of Film and Media. During MoMA's recent reconstruction, the Show moved its debut to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. 2004 will be the Show's last year at the Met before returning to MoMA in its newly renovated quarters in 2005. In addition to the honored commercials, the AICP Show traditionally features other artistic contributions. For the 2004 Show, the advertising campaign has been created by freelance art director and writer Ian Plimsoll. Music on the final reel will be composed by Sacred Noise; and the opening credits will be designed by Click 3X.
