Pat Hacker, Visit Scooter's World.

How about a new Halloween thread like we had last year. Let's have an AWN Halloween Party. I'll work up a new character how about the rest of you?

Would it be cheating to use one of my current characters dressed up for Halloween?

Definitely not. Anything goes. Just have fun like we did last year.

Here's one of the composite pics from last year. For those that missed out.
We all submitted stuff, then put together party pics. This is the one I have saved, but I know there were others also.

Last year I think we were supposed to depict ourselves in costume, but hey you can see it was up to liberal interpretation. Anything goes. Let's have a party!

Right here. This is pretty informal and I am not Dan or Larry, so it's not an offical thing. No prizes just fun!

This is part of an illustration I am playing with for Ray Bradbury's "The Halloween Tree", one of my favorite Halloween stories. For now, this is my submission for the AWN Forums "Halloween Party" ;)

That was such a fun thread last year. I will see what I can come up with later. :D

I don't know what I'm going to be this year in reality. . .who knows if I can come up with something to draw too!

2-D animation will never die. The invention of photography did not kill painting. Why would animation be any different?

This is a logo I've been working on for a pop band. Actually I just put this together for fun, but it's kind of Halloweeny.

I've got one I really like, but I entered it in a contest in another forum. I think I have to wait for that to get started on judging before I do much else with it... aaah, check it out if you want:

Feel free to chop something out of it for the Halloween group shot, or let me know if you want a particular part of it. I did it on paper, then traced, colored and composited it in Flash. Finally I took it to Photoshop where I touched it up with the Dodge and Burn tools. Yeah, I also cheated on the bricks with the texturizer. Next time I make my own bricks. Lots of adobe around here...

Which is scarier...the biker, the cycle or the skeleton? Hard choice.

Pat Hacker, Visit Scooter's World.

rupertpiston's picture

the theme of the contest was (is) "ooo-scary" Deadline was 10/23 and the voting hasn't started. I'm gettin' kinda perpituous about it. (I just made that word up) My skeleton, Mr. Grim, is being sarcastic. What fear has death of anyone, regardless of Julius Caesar's bold statements that death feared him?

Wot a fun thread. Some great artwork! Very nice people.

I saw this post this morning and thought, "Oooh yeah! I should sketch up something for that." Well, they don't call me the slodog for nuthin' but I finally put pencil to paper in between all the interruptions from these little ghosts, ghouls and goblins that kept showing up at my door. (They just wanted candy. I wasn't scared at all... I wasn't!)

Anyway, here it is

My goodness Jared, it's like Tim Burton directing a Peanuts cartoon.

I like the unconventional "overbite" flap mouths.
