Comamation = HURRAY!

I've never been in a coma..not sure if animator, Nils Knoblich has been in a coma but he made a video for a band named Coma.

I've never been in a coma. I blacked out once after cracking my ankle.  I was put under for 8 hours during surgery. That might be like a coma. I remember thinking how ideal a way that would be die. You get gassed, fall unconscious and just don't wake up. You'd never notice a thing. Can't imagine a better exit. Course sucks for the living who fully expect you to wake up. Guess some of us have been in various life comas, just walking around in fogs, unawares. Not sure if animator, Nils Knoblich (maker of comic books and some very pleasant animation films, First Date, Burning Haus and From Dad to Son) has been in a coma but he made a video for a band named Coma. Is that really an ideal band name? What message are you sending listeners? You're unconscious, lazy, apathetic, tired, maybe dead? Funny thing about this video is that there's not a lot of animation. It's kind of comamation. Invisible stagnancy fog. Song isn't even called coma. It's "Hoooooooray". Hoooooray for comas! Hoooooray for Nils! Hooooray for you!

Here's another coma video by Joe Strummer. It shall jolt you back to live.
