Celebrating 25 years, the Oscar-qualifying event aims to promote a more intelligent and diverse film culture for kids; submissions are now being accepted in shorts, features, animation, and live-action.
The 16th edition of the festival, being held October 8-17, is accepting submissions in the following competitive categories: feature film, short film, anidoc, student film, music video, children’s film, and VR film.
The Oscar-qualifying festival, now in its 21st year, will be judged by filmmakers and producers Sofia Coppola, James Schamus, Gus Van Sant, Christine Vachon and Taika Waititi.
