Wild Bunch has obtained the theatrical and home entertainment rights to ASTERIX AND OBELIX: GOD SAVE BRITANNIA, reports Variety. Based on ASTERIX IN BRITAIN, Asterix heads to England to aid his second-cousin Anticlimax fight off Julius Caesar and his Roman army.

Gerard Depardieu returns as Obelix. Fabrice Luchini has been cast as Caesar. Laurent Tirard (LITTLE NICHOLAS) is directing from a script by Gregoire Vigneron.
