SpinVFX has announced the addition of VFX supervisor, Mo Sobhy to their roster. Bringing a passion for creative quality, extensive design, and technical knowledge as well as an ability to think outside the box, Sobhy is a welcome addition to the VFX house team.

“I can’t wait for Mo to roll up his sleeves and get into the creative synergy with the rest of our team,” commented SpinVFX president, Neishaw Ali. “I was really inspired by his enthusiasm and child-like excitement for the artistry of our craft which was grounded in solutions.”

As a VFX industry CG generalist, Sobhy spent many years working through key departments, so his intimate knowledge of the VFX pipeline is a great asset. His credits include such titles as: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016); Suicide Squad (2016); and more recently, Mary Poppins Returns (2018); Stranger Things 3 (Netflix); Zombieland 2: Double Tap (2019); and Marvel’s highly-anticipated series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (due out in 2021).

Sobhy believes in the creative philosophy of "evoke an emotion and you've won half the battle.” “I look forward to embracing this ethos at SpinVFX,” he added.
