Spin VFX delivered 65 visual effects shots for the ITV miniseries Titanic, a four-part television costume drama created by producer Nigel Stafford-Clark and written by Julian Fellowes. The series, which was released in over 86 countries in March and April, 2012, was created to mark the one hundredth anniversary of the maritime disaster.

All rivets, portholes, mooring holes, doors and were created procedurally by Spin VFX. The total model was over four million polygons and textures were rendered in sub-layers using Renderman shaders. No displacement maps were used to model the hull of the ship... it's all hard modeled. Close attention was paid to details such as correct flags depending on the port, the time of day and where Titanic was headed.
