SIGGRAPH Asia Solicits Character Designs for a Mascot
SIGGRAPH Asia has issued what organizers say is a “call for imagination” for its 11th edition, set for Dec. 4-7 in Tokyo.
The call is for artists, designers and friends of SIGGRAPH Asia to submit an imaginative character that represents the heart of the event. One entry will be chosen to be turned into a 3D, huggable, one-of-a-kind SIGGRAPH Asia mascot. The event is seeking for a character that could be used as a mascot and be the unique character that represents SIGGRAPH Asia this year and beyond.
The winning submission will be awarded a complimentary full conference ticket to SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 and a cash prize of $1,000 US. The cash prize will be presented at the opening ceremony of SIGGRAPH Asia 2018.
