Shrek 4 Becomes DWA's Biggest Int'l Hit

SHREK FOREVER AFTER has crossed $480.7 million at the international box office, making it DreamWorks Animation's biggest international hit. The Paramount release ranks fourth in all-time international rankings behind ICE AGE: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS ($690 million), TOY STORY 3 ($621 million) and FINDING NEMO ($528 million).

IMAX and 3-D showings of the film made up 66% of its international haul.

In Russia ($19.4 million), Argentina ($3.2 million) and Panama ($972,000), the film set opening weekend records, while it marked overall toon records in Russia ($50.8 million) and the Ukraine ($4 million). It is also the first film in Paramount history to cross the $100 million mark in Latin America.
