During the press tour for ROBIN HOOD, director Ridley Scott revealed some details of the forthcoming ALIEN prequel to MTV.

The film will be set 30 years before Ellen Ripley when the original space jockeys landed on the planet where Capt. Dallas discovered their mutilated bodies in the original film. The space jockeys mission will be to terraform the alien planet.

Scott also said that he will contact H.R. Giger about doing new alien designs for the film.
