Fans of Polish indie animation director Michal Socha are in for treat when they tune into The Simpsons this coming Sunday night for the upcoming episode, “What to Expect When Bart’s Expecting.”

The director of the award-winning short film Chick recently completed his first Couch Gag for the long-running series, which has seen similar gags from filmmakers such as Bill Plympton, John Kricfalusi and Guillermo del Toro. The details are under wraps for now, but we can be sure the gag, produced at ACME Filmworks, will be filled with the same hyperkinetic graphic sensibility Socha brings to his other work.
