Ewan McGregor is in talks to join the cast of Bryan Singer's JACK THE GIANT KILLER, reports ComingSoon.net. He would join Nicholas Hoult, Bill Nighy, Stanley Tucci and John Kassir.

Written by Christopher McQuarrie, the story follows a young farmer who leads a band into giant country after their princess is kidnapped.
