Nickelodeon plans to transform Sara Mlynowski's MAGIC IN MANHATTAN novels into TV movies, reports Variety. Overbrook Ent. will co-produce. The stories follow a 14-year-old girl whose mother and younger sister are witches, who help her with her teen problems. Two volumes — BRAS & BROOMSTICKS and PARTIES & POTIONS — of the planned four volume series have already been published.
