IBERMEDIA NEXT, an organization dedicated to boosting innovation in the Ibero-American animation sector, is coming to Annecy 2023. The group’s programming will include two themed breakfasts and a networking event with representatives onsite and available for one-to-one meetings. The festival runs June 11-17.

The group’s initiatives target Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian producers who co-develop projects with companies and/or creators from the Ibero-American region. It also promotes new technology in creating animation.

A conference detailing the grant initiatives backed by the Ibermedia Programme, and the call for applications, will be held on June 15 at 5:15 pm at the Salle Verdi. A networking cocktail reception will follow, offering attendees an opportunity to learn more about the grants.

IBERMEDIA NEXT will host two themed breakfasts at the festival’s technology area on June 13 and 15 from 9:00 am-10:00 am. These events are by invitation only.

The Next Lab Generation conference on June 16 at 11:00 am in Salon Haendel will also feature a slot dedicated to IBERMEDIA NEXT.
