The Forest Lawn Museum, at the memorial park's Glendale location, is hosting “Syd Mead: Christmas Fantasies,” a book signing and Q&A session with visual futurist and a neofuturistic concept artist Syd Mead on Saturday, November 22.

Best known for his designs for films such as Blade Runner, Alien and Tron, Mead’s latest book, “Sentury II,” is a showcase of the artist’s futuristic designs and illustrations including work for products, entertainment (movies, TV, interactive games and theme parks), fantasy, toys, vehicles, architectural interiors and more.
