Disney swept the animation categories at tonight’s 87th annual Academy Awards, with winsome Winston taking the prize for best animated short.

Director Patrick Osborne and producer Kristina Reed accepted the award, with Osborne thanking John Lasseter and Ed Catmull, along with production designer, and “the best painter alive,” Jeff Turley.

Directed by Patrick Osborne and produced by Kristina Reed, Feast played in theaters ahead of Disney’s Marvel-inspired Big Hero 6. The six-minute short is the story of one man’s love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share. Osborne previously served as the head of animation on 2012’s Oscar-winning short, Paperman, also produced by Reed.

Feast had some particularly excellent competition this year: The Bigger Picture Daisy by Jacobs and Christopher Hees, The Dam Keeper by Robert Kondo and Dice Tsutsumi, Torill Kove’s Me and My Moulton, and A Single Life by Job Roggeveen, Joris Oprins and Markieke Blaauw.
