Disney+ has revealed the trailer and key art for Not Just a Goof, a documentary which explores the untold story of A Goofy Movie.

Just in time for the 30th anniversary of A Goofy Movie, the project follows a young creative team as they craft their first Disney feature and face disappointment upon the film’s release - only for the film to gain a passionate following decades later. Through key interviews and rare archival footage, it explores the struggles, victories, and studio dynamics that shaped the movie.

More than just a behind-the-scenes look, the retrospective sheds light on Disney Animation’s evolution and the film’s legacy.

The studio also just released a video celebrating the film’s anniversay, starring Bill Farmer, the long-time voice of Goofy, and Jason Marsden, the voice of Max Goof, as they take a trip down memory lane in a reimagined version of the film’s famed AMC Pacer.

Not Just a Goof debuts on Disney+ today, April 7. You can watch the trailer, and Farmer and Marsden on the road again, below.
