In honor of National Tree Day, Marvel Studios and Disney+ released a trailer, key art, and images for I Am Groot Season 2, starring the hugely popular Guardians of the Galaxy franchise’s adorable little offshoot - returning to the streamer with five all-new 3DCG animated shorts September 6.

In the new season, Baby Groot finds himself exploring the universe and beyond aboard the Guardians’ spaceships, coming face-to-face—or nose-to-nose—with new and colorful creatures and environments.

Vin Diesel returns as the voice of Groot along with Season 1 writer/director Kirsten Lepore. The supervising producer is Danielle Costa; producers are Craig Rittenbaum and Alex Scharf; executive producers are Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Lepore. Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt is co-executive producer.
