ComingSoon.net reports that production has begun on Luximation Films' animated feature THE CLOCKWORK GIRL. Based on the Arcana Studios' graphic novel, the story teams a robot girl named Tesla (Alexa Vega, SPY KIDS) with a monster boy named Huxley (Jesse McCartney, HORTON HEARS A WHO) on a mission to save the world.

Deboragh Gabler and Sean O'Reilly are the producers with Kevin Hanna directing. The voice cast also includes Carrie-Anne Moss (THE MATRIX) voicing Admiral Wells, Brad Garrett (EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND) voicing T-Bolt and Jeffery Tambour (ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT) voicing Wilhelm.
