Sweden-based artist Anders Ramsell has animated almost 35 minutes of Ridley Scott’s sci-fi classic Blade Runner using 12,597 beautiful aquarelle (watercolor) paintings. 

Blade Runner - The Aquarelle Edition follows the original movie´s storyline but Ramsell has taken the liberty of making some changes.

“It was never my intent to make an exact version of the movie, that would fill no purpose,” he says. “Instead I wanted to create a something different and never before seen.”
