With Christian Bale passing, Michael Fassbender has emerged as the top choice for the title role in Darren Aronofsky's NOAH, reports Variety. Aronofsky and Ari Handel originally penned the Paramount and New Regency production with a rewrite from John Logan (GLADIATOR). Aronofsky and his BLACK SWAN producer Scott Franklin are producing. Filming is set to begin in the spring.
