The Fourth German Brick Film Festival takes place this year on the July 12, 2008 in Hildesheim. Steinerei 2008 is a family event, a meeting place for Brick filmmakers and a competitive Brick Film Festival.

This year's competition theme is "Re:make." The subject of remake offers a wide range of possibilities for the Brick film makers to show their creativity. Remakes of computer games, music videos, TV series or of the classic films will inspire also the audience. The Steinerei 2008 has something special for every taste: Delicious "Brick" -- foods, refreshing drinks and of course, funny, exciting and adventurous Brick films.

The festival is open for the public and free starting at 2 p.m. The festival program and the films are in German.
