CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S FILM FESTIVAL - CALL FOR ENTRIES

Now an Academy-qualifying festival for Short Films!

The largest (and oldest) children's film festival in North America takes place October 24-November 3, 2002 in Chicago. The 19th CICFF, or "Cannes for Kids," invites entries in all categories, including live action and animated features and shorts, television programs and child-produced work for competition judged by child and adult juries, with cash prizes. Winners in the short film category will automatically be submitted to the Short Film Nominating Committee for the Academy Awards. CICFF is one of only a handful of festivals, and the only children's film festival to be accorded this special status.
